Injured Klay Thompson called game on Lakers radio with father Mychal
Even if he is out with an injury, it is still no days off for Klay Thompson.
The Golden State Warriors star, who currently has a right thumb injury that could cost him fairly significant time, called his team’s game with the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday on Lakers radio. Thompson shared the broadcast table with his father Mychal, color commentator for the Lakers, and Lakers play-by-play guy John Ireland. Here were some shots of Klay on the air.

Cool moment in the second quarter, as @KlayThompson sat in with his father Mychal and @LAIreland on @ESPNLosAngeles. Class act @warriors and @WarriorsPR. pic.twitter.com/1Pn6I7ARBa

It definitely had to be a memorable radio debut for Klay, especially since the Warriors took home the 117-106 victory over the Lakers. Hopefully, he was able to avoid his customary space-outs on the air though.
