Isaiah Thomas will be battling through some oral pain during the Celtics-Wizards series.
Thomas underwent oral surgery on Monday, a day after having his tooth knocked out during Game 1 of Boston’s playoff series with Washington.
The Celtics guard has a swollen mouth and is in pain, according to what his coach Brad Stevens told the media.

The Celtics took Game 1 of the series 123-111, with Thomas scoring a game-high 33 points and receiving a ribbing from a teammate. The tooth being knocked out didn’t bother him in Game 1 and hopefully won’t be an issue for him as the series goes on and his mouth begins to heal.
