James Harden questionable for Saturday’s game with neck strain
James Harden is dealing with a strained neck.
Harden has been listed as questionable for the Houston Rockets’ primetime Saturday night game against the Golden State Warriors on ABC due to his injury, termed a cervical strain.
Harden dealt with a shoulder injury prior to All-Star Weekend and seems to be suffering some wear and tear. He’s been averaging 37.4 minutes per game and his 24.4 shots per game are a career-high.
The NBA likes receiving notice about an injury a player is dealing with especially ahead of high-profile matchups on national TV. Harden has missed three games this season, all of which came earlier within the first few weeks of the season.
Houston is 33-25 on the year.
