15-year-old Jaxon Richardson is a real chip off the old block.
Jaxon, the son of two-time NBA Dunk Contest champion Jason Richardson, went viral over the weekend for an almost biblical dunk that he threw down. At what appeared to be a basketball camp, Jaxon got up for a one-handed 360 slam … that he managed to do while also jumping clean over a dude.
Take a look at the video of Jaxon’s jam here.

Jaxon is a 6-foot-5 wing who currently plays for Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nev. His older brother Jase Richardson, a four-star 2024 prospect, also plays for Bishop Gorman as a 6-foot-2 point guard.
It is clear the genes run strong in the Richardson family as father Jason was an unforgettable dunker himself. The 14-year NBA veteran Jason competed in three straight All-Star Slam Dunk Contests from 2002-04, winning two. Even at 42 years old now, Jason continues to get up for highlight-reel jams.
