There have been numerous reports about dysfunction with the Washington Wizards in the early part of the season, and a lot of the talk centers around whether or not John Wall and Bradley Beal want to continue playing together. As of now, the star backcourt duo appears to be trying to put that talk to rest.
After they combined for a whopping 68 points in a 135-131 overtime win over the Houston Rockets Monday night, Wall and Beal exchanged pleasantries on Twitter. It started with the Wizards congratulating Wall for moving into third on the franchise’s all-time scoring list, and Beal gave his teammate a shout-out.

On Tuesday morning, Wall let Beal (and the more than 2 million followers the star players have) know he appreciated the love.

While that may seem insignificant, the exchange comes on the heels of a report claiming Beal has made it clear he wants out of Washington, which he called “nonsense” after the game. The public display of affection also came after a Wizards player blamed Wall for the issues the team is having, so it would not be a surprise if Washington’s two biggest stars are trying to galvanize the team.
