Kawhi Leonard suffers partial tear in shoulder
Kawhi Leonard continues to endure a tough season for the San Antonio Spurs.
After missing most of the start of the season due to a quad injury, Leonard will now be limited by a shoulder injury.
Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said Sunday that Leonard suffered a partial tear in his left shoulder during Friday’s game.
Pop said Leonard suffered a partial tear in his left shoulder Friday night against Phoenix: "It’s too bad. He was starting to get back into form a little bit after playing a couple of games." #Spurs

Leonard was ruled out for the team’s game against Portland on Sunday, but Pop would not rule him out for the remainder of the team’s road trip.
Pop didn't rule out Leonard playing at some point during this three-game West Coast trip, which continues tomorrow night in Sacramento and ends Thursday night against the Lakers in L.A.: "I don’t know. It depends on how his shoulder goes." #Spurs

The shoulder injury comes right when Leonard was starting to see increased minutes in his return from the quad injury.
