Kevin Durant takes shot at Knicks fans after Nets win
Kevin Durant did not play in Wednesday night’s New York Knicks-Brooklyn Nets game, but that didn’t stop him from taking at least one shot.
The Nets beat the Knicks 111-106 in the game at Madison Square Garden. Cam Thomas nailed a deep dagger 3-pointer to make it a six-point game with 6.8 seconds left. The crowd was loud after the big shot even though it was a road game for the Nets.

Durant seemed to take notice. He tweeted that “Nets fans were loud in the barc….I mean the garden tonight.”

Barclays Center is the home of the Nets in Brooklyn.
There could be something more to this than what’s on the surface.
When Durant chose to sign with the Nets prior to the 2019 season, he was criticized for seemingly taking the easy way out by choosing to play for a secondary team in New York. The Knicks are regarded as being more popular and having a more dedicated (and tougher) fan base. Durant may have been taking subtle aim at that past criticism.
As we know, Durant doesn’t mind taking shots at the Knicks.
