Kevin Durant to miss at least remainder of series against Rockets
Kevin Durant suffered a calf injury during Wednesday night’s win over the Houston Rockets that has been described as minor, but it is serious enough that it will keep him out for at least two games.
ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Durant has been diagnosed with a mild calf strain, and he will be re-evaluated by team doctors next week. He could return for the Western Conference Finals should Golden State advance.

The Warriors are heading back to Houston for Game 6 on Friday night after taking a 3-2 series lead, and they will have Game 7 back at home if they can’t finish the job. While they obviously have plenty of firepower, Durant has been by far their best player thus far in the playoffs.
Durant has averaged 33.2 points per game against the Rockets and 34.2 during the postseason.
