Kyrie Irving offered very little after the Boston Celtics’ latest loss.
Irving’s Celtics got dropped by the Toronto Raptors 118-95 on Tuesday night. They were outscored 36-13 in the second quarter and did not make up ground in the second half.
Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said the team was not connected, while Marcus Smart offered similar thoughts, saying the team was not together.
Irving answered questions for the media after the game but barely provided answers.
Kyrie wasn’t too talkative with us tonight. On how to fix taking defensive shortcuts: “I don’t know. It’s up to Brad.”
On Marcus Smart’s diagnosis that the Celtics aren’t playing together: “I mean, that’s Marcus’s opinion. I respect it.”
Is it Kyrie’s opinion too? *Silence*

The Celtics are now 37-24 and have lost three in a row to slip to the fifth spot in the East. That means they would have to be on the road in a potential first-round playoff series against Philly — not an easy task. Irving was still confident about his squad as of the weekend.
