LeBron James appears to want to team up with Kyrie Irving again

What the future holds for superstar LeBron James is anyone’s guess and he’s not ready to discuss it.

However, that hasn’t stopped people from speculating. Some postulate that he could attempt to team up with his son, Bronny, while others believe he’ll opt out of his contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. Others feel he could go in the opposite direction while many are now convinced that James is trying to pair back up with Kyrie Irving based on a series of viral tweets.

Although Irving and James did had a falling out once upon a time, the two have mended their relationship over the years. In fact, prior to landing with the Dallas Mavericks, Irving considered reuniting with James as a member of the Lakers.

“Everything was considered,” Irving recently told FOX Sports’ Melissa Rohlin. “He’s a great friend of mine, a great brother of mine. We obviously played together [in Cleveland]. Everybody knows our history. But there were so many different factors in between. When it comes to business decisions, you have to ask the GMs, the presidents why certain things didn’t work out.”

If James ultimately opts out of his contract, the Mavericks may become a realistic option — especially if Irving attempts to do some recruiting.

A trio of James, Irving and Luka Doncic sounds great on paper and may be more than enough to put Dallas over the top in their pursuit of a second NBA title.
