LeBron James’ block on George Hill was awesome (Video)
LeBron James challenged George Hill at the rim, and the Miami Heat MVP won.
Late in the third quarter of Game 4 of the Eastern Conference finals between the Heat and Indiana Pacers, Indiana had a fastbreak opportunity following a Dwyane Wade miss. David West got the ball and passed ahead to Hill, who appeared to have an open lane to the basket. But James closed on him from the sideline and skied for the amazing rejection at the rim. LeBron literally challenged Hill head on and got an awesome block.
What made James’ block even more impressive is that it came a minute after he seemed to sprain his ankle by landing on Lance Stephenson’s foot. That was proof that he really wasn’t injured at all.
Not only did LeBron get a block on Hill on the play, but Hill received his fourth foul in the scrum for the ball, and coach Frank Vogel was hit with a technical foul, giving the Heat a point after Ray Allen made the free throw.
