Marc Gasol has made more than $125 million on the basketball court in his career and will make another $50 million over the next two seasons, but you would have no idea if you saw the “gym” he works out in at his house.
Early Wednesday morning, Gasol shared a photo of his personalized workout area. It looks more like the garage of a guy who works 9-5, tinkers in his yard a bit, and likes to life weights every once in a while.
Granted, the rest of Gasol’s house is probably quite nice. But in an era where pro athletes have spare $13 million mansions laying around, it’s refreshing to see someone keep it old school with a bench and some free weights. Gasol is walking proof that you don’t need enough workout equipment for 60 people just to stay in shape.
