Billionaire sports team owner Mark Davis has always been at the forefront of experimentation when it comes to hair.
Davis, who owns the Las Vegas Aces and Las Vegas Raiders, has captivated fans for years with his iconic bowl cut. Few hairdos can go strand-for-strand against Davis and his signature look.
The 70-year-old switched things up in celebration of Aces superstar A’ja Wilson, who won her fourth WNBA MVP award on Sunday. Davis and several of Wilson’s supporters put on pink wigs to surprise her with the trophy, interrupting what appeared to be a serious team meeting ahead of the Aces’ playoff clash against the Indiana Fever.

Davis showed zero apprehension about the look. He was all smiles and held up a pink bouquet for Wilson as she thanked everyone in attendance for showing her love.

Bam Adebayo, Wilson’s NBA All-Star boyfriend, was also present for the surprise. Fortunately (or unfortunately) for Miami Heat fans, Adebayo did not have a wig when he handed his girlfriend the trophy.
The gesture was an homage to Wilson, who wore a pink wig during the Aces’ team media day earlier in the year.
It’s no surprise Davis was willing to make himself look silly for his best player. The Aces have brought Mark nothing but joy since he bought the team in 2021. He’s already tasted championship champagne twice as the Aces’ owner. On the other hand, the Raiders have done nothing but infuriate Davis since he took over the team in 2011.
