Nick Young trying to recruit Goran Dragic and Marc Gasol to Lakers
Lakers fans aren’t used to the kind of losing that’s taking place this year and, rest assured, the organization will do what it can to return to winning ways as soon as possible.
Magic Johnson would like to see the Lakers continue piling up losses to increase the chances of gaining a high pick in this year’s NBA Draft. In addition to young talent, a few quality veterans certainly wouldn’t hurt and that’s where Nick Young comes in.
Young has taken it upon himself to help sway potential free agents to join the Lakers, even doing so during games.
“I told Goran Dragic on the court, You might be my teammate next year.” Young told the L.A. Daily News. “I’ll talk to Marc (Gasol.) Me and him are cool. Kevin Love, I’ll talk to him.”
If only it was that easy. There’s the matter of playing with Kobe Bryant, which any free agent will presumably have to do for atleast one year. And we know that isn’t exactly the easiest proposition. Although, seeing moments like this up close could be enticing.
