Rockets to sell $1 beer during Game 5 against Thunder
Toyota Center could get very rowdy in a potential closeout game on Tuesday.
Houston Rockets CEO Tad Brown said Monday that the team will be selling $1 beer for Game 5 against the Oklahoma City Thunder along with hot dogs, nachos, and soda for the same price, per Calvin Watkins of ESPN.
Rockets CEO Tad Brown said doors will open tomorrow at 5:30 p.m. also $1 beer, $1 hotdogs, $1 nachos and $1 soda.

The Rockets currently hold a 3-1 lead in the first-round series, one that has already been marred by altercations between players and spectators. While the promo is a cool gesture for the local fans, adding dirt-cheap brew to an already hostile playoff environment could be toeing a very dangerous line.
