The Houston Rockets are reportedly making a push to add Jimmy Butler.
After reports surfaced that the disgruntled Butler requested a trade from the Minnesota Timberwolves, rumors began to fly with speculation where the four-time NBA All-Star might end up. Butler reportedly prefers to go to the Miami Heat.
Now a report from Mark Berman of FOX 26 in Houston says the Rockets have emerged as possible landing spot as well.
NBA sources confirm the #Rockets are making a strong effort to land Jimmy Butler in a trade with Minnesota.

The Rockets lost two wing players during the offseason in Trevor Ariza and Luc Mbah a Moute. Butler would be an obvious upgrade. The question would be what Houston would have to part with to facilitate a trade. If there’s one thing we have learned over the years, it’s not to doubt Daryl Morey.
