Jimmy Butler reportedly prefers to be traded to Heat
Jimmy Butler has presumably given the Minnesota Timberwolves a list of teams he would like to be traded to, but the star swingman reportedly prefers one above all the others.
According to Marc Stein of the New York Times, Butler has informed the Timberwolves that he wants to play for the Miami Heat.

Steins adds that Miami is one of more than 20 teams that have inquired about a potential Butler trade, but they are finding it difficult to communicate with the T-Wolves about their intentions.
The Heat have been trying to land a star player for the past few years, and a previous report indicated they are aggressively pursuing Butler. With Dwyane Wade having announced that the upcoming season will be his last in the NBA, the Heat will have a need for a new player to serve as the face of the franchise. Butler could be that player.
Timberwolves coach Tom Thibodeau recently met with Butler in an attempt to get him to change his mind about wanting out of Minnesota, but it doesn’t sound as though he had any luck.
