A report that Stephen Curry is poised to return Sunday may prove premature.
Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Curry may need more scrimmage time before receiving clearance to play. Kerr also refused to put a date on Curry’s return, stating that Tuesday’s report was “news to us.”

Tuesday’s report stated that Curry was set to play against the Washington Wizards on Sunday. This will put that in some doubt. The reality is there just doesn’t appear to be any real clarity on when Curry will make his return. It may be Sunday, but it might not be.
