Steve Kerr calls out Warriors ‘millennials’ for being lazy in first half
The Golden State Warriors got off to a slow start against the Brooklyn Nets Thursday night, and they actually went into halftime trailing 65-49 against one of the worst teams in the NBA. Steve Kerr knows just what the problem was.
It was those damn kids and their cell phones.
After the Warriors blew the Nets out in the second half and won 117-101, Kerr was asked about the sluggish first half.
Steve Kerr: "The millennials struggled in the first half. They locked in in the second half, put their phones down and started to defend." pic.twitter.com/bxlVvU7xsF

We all know the Warriors can score points, but they have shown a tendency to slack off on the defensive side of the ball. Apparently Kerr thinks that has something to do with millennials and their fancy electronic devices and sense of entitlement.
Believe it or not, we have seen players tweet during games before. That said, we’re guessing Thursday’s slow start for Golden State had more to do with a lack of urgency against a horrible team than it did with Twitter and Instagram.
