Draymond Green left the Golden State Warriors’ loss to the Houston Rockets on Saturday night with an ankle injury, and there’s a chance Steve Kerr still has no idea that it happened.
Green went down with just under nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and eventually there was a stoppage in play so trainers could tend to him. Given how long it took Kerr to realize that Green was writhing in pain right in front of his face, it’s a good thing the star forward wasn’t bleeding. If so, he might have bled out.

As you can see, every member of Golden State’s coaching staff was looking down at Green while Kerr was focused on something across the floor. He clearly didn’t see what was going on, though we have no idea how.
Kerr described the ankle injury as a “little tweak” after the game, so perhaps he just had a sixth sense about it and knew there was no reason to be alarmed. The diagnosis was a bit curious given how the injury looked, but either way it doesn’t sound serious.
