Jaylen Brown now has some competition for the worst athlete hair fail of the past year.
Heavyweight boxer Jarrell Miller appeared to have a fresh cut for his bout against Kingsley Ibeh at Madison Square Garden in New York City, N.Y. But Miller’s slick fade was exposed as a fake not long into the fight.
Ibeh landed a few heavy blows to the head, knocking Miller’s noggin back every time. Each punch helped dislodge the toupee Miller was wearing until it was completely off his dome. The scene looked reminiscent of a Three Stooges skit or something straight out of the Looney Tunes universe.

Rather than get embarrassed, Miller embraced the moment. He ripped off the toupee between rounds and chucked it into the crowd and right into the hands of Australian boxer Skye Nicolson. That’s quite the unconventional post-match souvenir.

Miller shook off the hilarious moment and kept his composure throughout the match. He fittingly won by a hair in a split decision victory over Ibeh.
During his post-fight interview, Miller explained that he had accidentally used bleach instead of shampoo during a visit to his mom’s house a couple of days before the fight.
It took Miller a while to realize that bald is truly beautiful. Maybe Jaylen Brown will learn to understand that soon enough, too.
