Jake Paul has announced who his new opponent will be for his July 20 fight.

Paul was originally set to face Mike Tyson on July 20, but Tyson had to postpone the fight until November due to a medical issue.

In the meantime, Paul will keep his July 20 fight date and instead face Mike Perry in Tampa, Fla.

Perry is a legitimate fighter with real combat experience. The 32-year-old has experience in boxing, bare-knuckle fighting and mixed martial arts. Perry is 14-8 in his MMA career and last fought in the UFC in 2021. He is 0-1 as a professional boxer and 5-0 as a bare knuckle fighter. He most recently fought in a bare knuckle match in April.

Paul, 27, went from being a social media personality to a boxer. He is 9-1 in his pro boxing career, including a win over former MMA fighter Nate Diaz in August 2023.
