The MGM reportedly cancelled all of their closed circuit viewing parties for Saturday’s Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Andre Berto fight over a lack of interest.

Mitch Moss, a host at ESPN 1100 in Las Vegas, reported the news over Twitter Wednesday.

Per sources: MGM canceled all their closed circuit viewing parties for the Mayweather fight this weekend.

A person who serves as a concierge in Las Vegas says that has never happened before:

We told you this week that the fight is being panned by fans and the media so much that there are still thousands of tickets available. High rollers are even turning down free tickets for the fight, which usually is almost unheard of for a Mayweather bout.

What was supposed to be Mayweather’s grand exit from the sport of boxing is turning out to be a lame limp to the finish line.
