Mike Tyson’s X account posted its first message since the boxer endured a medical scare on a flight over the weekend.

Tyson was flying from Miami, Fla. to Los Angeles, Calif. on Sunday and started feeling sick. He was in so much pain that the flight crew asked if there was anyone on the flight who could provide medical care to the boxer.

Paramedics came aboard as soon as the plane landed and treated the 57-year-old, causing a brief delay for the other passengers.

Tyson’s representative told reporters that the boxer’s medical issue was related to an “ulcer flare up.”

“He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare up 30 minutes before landing. He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him,” a spokesperson said.

The whole incident led some to wonder whether Tyson’s July 20 bout against Jake Paul would be canceled or postponed. It sure doesn’t sound like there will be any changes to the scheduled fight.

“Now feeling 100% even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul,” Tyson’s X account wrote in a post on Tuesday.

From having medical scares to promoting his fight, Tyson seems focused on going through with things.

A 57-year-old Mike Tyson facing 27-year-old Jake Paul in a sanctioned boxing fight in Texas at a time when Tyson can’t even make a plane flight without an issue. That doesn’t sound great.
