The College World Series is so important to some people that they are willing to go to great lengths to secure a trip to Omaha. One Mississippi State fan had the story to top all stories, but we have some bad news about it.
It appears the fan was joking.
On Wednesday, an interview from the CWS went viral that featured a Mississippi State fan explaining how his wife’s boyfriend — yes, you read that right — sold his prosthetic leg so the husband could afford the trip to Omaha.

The rabid Bulldogs fan is Terry Powell, and he was definitely joking about his wife having a boyfriend and the boyfriend selling his prosthetic leg. That much is evident when you watch the full interview, but Powell should probably look into stand-up comedy.
Since the hilarious interview went viral, Powell has received multiple requests for radio spots.
