Houston beat Purdue on Friday night to advance to the Elite Eight, and they utilized a great inbounds play to get the win.
The top-seeded Cougars and 4th-seeded Boilermakers were tied at 60 with just over two seconds left. Houston had the ball out of bounds after Purdue knocked it out of bounds on the previous play. Milos Uzan passed the ball in, but Purdue forgot to defend him. Joseph Tugler passed the ball right back to Uzan for a layup to win the game.

Kelvin Sampson couldn’t have drawn it up any better than that. The execution from Houston was perfect too.
Houston is now 33-4. They will face Tennessee on Sunday with a spot in the Final Four on the line. The Volunteers waxed Kentucky 78-65 to reach the Midwest Region final.
