Iowa State loses to UAB in huge bracket buster
It took only a few hours for the first major upset in the 2015 NCAA Tournament to take place, as No. 14 UAB shocked Iowa State in a 60-59 thriller on Thursday afternoon. The Blazers busted a ton of brackets in the process.
Hardly anyone picked UAB to beat Iowa State, and there were plenty of people who had the Cyclones in the Elite 8 and beyond. A whopping 96 percent of Yahoo Sports users had Iowa State beating UAB, and 15 percent had the Cyclones in their Final Four.

Even the so-called “experts” watched their picks go up in flames.

Those of you who were part of that 15 percent are going to want to punch me, but they do call it March Madness for a reason. You know these upsets are coming, you just have to hope they don’t clean you out.
As for the best tweet in the wake of the big UAB upset? Our own Larry Brown had that covered.
Well, Fred Hoiberg is definitely ready for that Chicago Bulls job. He has the early postseason exit part down perfectly
