Jay Wright joined elite college basketball company when he won his second national championship in three years with Villanova, so naturally the rumors are already swirling about him potentially coaching at the next level. From the way it sounds, that is not going to happen any time soon.
Following Villanova’s dominant 79-62 win over Michigan on Monday, Wright spoke like a man who could not be happier with his current job.
Jay Wright doesn't sound like a guy who's going anywhere: "I just have the best job in the country. I’m in my hometown, my wife’s alma mater, my favorite team growing up. … I just love going to work every day. As a coach, there's just nothing better."

Wright has joined Mike Krzyzewski and Roy Williams as the only active head coaches to win multiple championships. With high-profile NBA jobs like the New York Knicks potentially opening up this offseason, Wright will likely be getting plenty of phone calls from pro teams.
Of course, certain college coaches are linked to NBA rumors every year and nothing ever comes of it. That goes hand-in-hand with enjoying great success at the college level, and Wright has certainly enjoyed plenty of it in recent years.
