Watch: Louisville coach Chris Mack gets curt in halftime interview
Louisville Cardinals head coach Chris Mack got curt with a reporter during his halftime interview on Monday night.
Mack was upset with some officiating in the first half even though his team went into halftime leading Virginia Tech 31-26. He conducted an interview with ESPN’s Allison Williams before heading into the locker room for halftime. Her first question was about why he was so upset with the officiating.
“I’m worried about my team,” Mack answered.
She then asked what his biggest takeaway from the half was, and he gave a lengthy response. But then when Williams asked what he’s seen that allowed the Hokies to get back into the game later in the half, he had no interest in providing any insight.

That was not very cooperative by Mack. He may not like the questions, but he can do a better job. Does he think he’s the next Gregg Popovich or something? He didn’t go full Nick Saban, but he didn’t have to be that curt.
