Trey Lyles hit Josh Gasser in the face late in the Kentucky-Wisconsin Final Four game Saturday, but he avoided any sort of penalty.
The contact occurred after a missed Kentucky shot with 5:30 left. Lyles slapped Gasser in the face, who appeared to do some acting as he went down.
The officials conferred but decided not to charge Lyles with anything. The announcers were surprised by the no-call because they felt a hit to the face deserved a Flagrant 1 foul, as did we.
