UMBC selling perfect T-shirt after historic upset over Virginia
UMBC will forever be the team that is remembered for pulling off the greatest upset in NCAA Tournament history, and who can blame the school for doing everything it can to profit off of the improbable victory?
On Tuesday, the UMBC bookstore unveiled some new merchandise. Our guess is Retrievers fans will have it sold out in no time:

UMBC already had to scramble to file for certain trademarks after beating Virginia, and the school deserves every penny it gets. While the Retrievers ended up losing to Kansas State in the second round of the tourney, their 74-54 win over Virginia marked the first time a 16 seed ever got the best of a 1 seed in NCAA Tournament history. That’s certainly nothing to scoff at.
