Viewers were so upset Stormy Daniels interview was delayed due to Elite Eight
If you’re a college basketball fan, you were inundated with promos from CBS for their Stormy Daniels interview that was set to air on “60 Minutes” Sunday night. 60 Minutes airs at 7:00 pm, but there was a conflict on Sunday night as the Duke-Kansas Elite Eight NCAA Tournament game went to overtime, causing a delay in the airing of the Daniels interview. Those who tuned in at 7 pm on the East Coast to watch the interview instead got stuck watching the end of the basketball game. Many viewers were not at all happy about that.
Take a look at some of the reactions on Twitter:
Where's 60 Minutes?? Waiting for Stormy Daniels interview and some stupid basketball game is going overtime??!!! Anyone else have this issue????

Hey @CBSNews – you’re honestly showing a basketball game instead of the Stormy Daniels interview? Really?

Is it just me or is there stupid basketball when there should be Stormy Daniels?

This overtime basketball game is preventing me from watching Stormy and getting on my last nerve

WTF??? 60 minutes and Stormy’s interview has been preempted by basketball on my Dish network!

Here I am actually watching TV, tuned into 60 Minutes on @CBS for the Stormy Daniels interview, and instead we're all being punished with overtime basketball. This is excruciating.

Ouch. Sorry to say it, but many college basketball fans wanted as little to do with the Stormy Daniels interview as those looking for the Stormy Daniels interview wanted to do with a basketball game. Although the Stormy Daniels-Ben Roethlisberger story sure is an interesting crossover.
