Ole Miss fans won’t soon forget Josh Jacobs’ taunt during Saturday’s game, and neither will Nick Saban.
Jacobs rushed for a four-yard touchdown during the second quarter of Alabama’s 62-7 throttling of Ole Miss on Saturday. He dragged a defender through the end zone and then taunted with a landshark sign.

Even though the Ole Miss program’s nickname is the Rebels, the landshark has come on over the past decade as the team’s new, informal mascot. Ole Miss athletes often place their hand across their face to symbolize a shark fin, which is what Jacobs mimicked.
Jacobs received an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, which likely won’t sit well with his coach. Jacobs had six carries for 18 yards in the game and an 18-yard reception.
