Watch: Colorado State game-winning touchdown nullified in crushing fashion
The Utah State Aggies found themselves quite lucky to escape Saturday against the Colorado State Rams.
With the Rams down 29-24 on the final play of the game, they appeared to connect on an amazing Hail Mary catch to wide receiver Preston Williams. However, after further review, it was ruled that Williams had stepped out of bounds and became the first player to touch the ball after coming back in, thus nullifying the catch.

Timeout: #CSURams LOST. Rams LOSE. They lost.
Preston Williams AMAZING catch to "win" the game but he was ruled to step out of bounds and then was the first to touch the ball.

The call was correct, but that’s still a brutal way to lose a game. We’ve seen some tantalizingly close Hail Marys in the sport this season, but none quite looked like this, especially after it looked like the Rams had won it.
