Florida had savage message for Brian Kelly after beating LSU
Florida made sure to add insult to injury Saturday after dealing LSU its third loss in a row.
The Gators beat the Tigers 27-16 in front of a rabid crowd at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville, Fla. The two teams entered the fourth quarter tied 13-13 before Florida scored two touchdowns to seal a two-score victory.
Florida’s social media manager was evidently sitting on the perfect post in the event of a Gators win. The account posted on X with a succinct yet stinging jab at LSU head coach Brian Kelly.
“Please don’t damage our tables coach,” the post read, along with a GIF of Kelly smashing his fist on a table.

Florida had its prayers answered as Kelly largely kept things peaceful during his postgame press conference.
Update. No fireworks in Brian Kelly's press conference.
Major takeaways: They can't finish drives with points (as you saw). He says he's getting more involved. He says only players who want to fight will play the last two regular-season games. https://t.co/N5AwSFTo3O

The post was in reference to Kelly’s press conference meltdown after LSU’s season-opening loss to USC back in September. What was supposed to be a show of passion from Kelly has now turned into one of his most viral memes.
LSU bounced back from its loss to USC with six straight wins to go 6-1. But the Tigers entered Saturday coming off back-to-back loses against ranked opponents.
