Fans clowned Brian Kelly with the same photo after LSU lost to Alabama
Whenever LSU loses a big game, the jokes at Brian Kelly’s expense are always soon to follow. That did not change on Saturday.
LSU got embarrassed by Alabama 43-13 when the two teams faced off at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, La. The Crimson Tide raced out to a 14-3 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.
After the game, a photo of Kelly at a press conference began trending on social media. But the photo was not from Saturday. Several fans threw back to Kelly’s viral press conference meltdown in September when the LSU coach went off after his team’s season-opening loss to USC.

LSU got demolished trying to stop Alabama’s run game. Quarterback Jalen Milroe outrushed the entire Tigers squad by himself with 184 yards and 4 touchdowns on 12 carries. All six of Alabama’s touchdowns came on the ground. Perhaps Milroe took Nick Saban’s pregame advice to heart.
LSU supporters were understandably on edge throughout the game. When a call went against the Tigers during the third quarter of Saturday’s game, the LSU faithful threw water bottles onto the field in frustration.
With three games left in LSU’s season, the loss to Alabama virtually knocks them out of any shot at the College Football Playoff.
