Hugh Freeze gets Gatorade shower after leading Liberty to first ever bowl win
Hugh Freeze received a nice honor from his players after leading Liberty to its first ever bowl win.
The Liberty Flames beat Georgia Southern 23-16 in the Cure Bowl on Saturday for the program’s first bowl win. To celebrate the win, Flames players gave Freeze a celebratory Gatorade shower.

Freeze is in his first season as Liberty’s head coach. The program only moved to FBS last year, though Freeze is predicting big things.
“People are going to find out about it as we start stacking some recruiting classes on top of each other,” he said in a postgame interview with CBS Sports Network.
Recall that Freeze coached from the press box due to illness back in September. And now he just got a Gatorade bath to end the year. It was quite a season for him and Liberty.
