Johnny Manziel got off to a scorching start in Texas A&M’s big showdown against Alabama on Saturday afternoon. Instead of lighting the social media world on fire by throwing up the Topszn Regime hand gesture, he decided to go with a more traditional celebration after the Aggies took a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. Johnny went Kaepernicking.
Kissing your biceps muscle is nothing new for athletes, but San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick made it popular last season by doing it over and over again. Manziel typically starts his own trends, but I’m sure Kaep doesn’t mind loaning him the move for the day.
Hey, at least Johnny Football wasn’t signing air autographs during the game. He’s already been there and done that.
