Did Lane Kiffin mock Nick Saban with ‘rat poison’ reference?
Lane Kiffin pulled a Nick Saban on Twitter Monday, sort of.
Over the weekend, Saban complained about the media hyping up his team and compared it to “rat poison” for his players.
On Monday, Kiffin tweeted a screenshot of an ESPN statistical probability that predicted his FAU team would win Conference USA. In his tweet, he called it “rat poison”:
Please stop media!! This is rat poison to our players!! #process #top10rushingoffensesinthecountry #bama #thefaU pic.twitter.com/JHhte3uH2o

Considering Kiffin seemed to be boasting about his team’s rushing offense in the tweet, it seems he was being sarcastic by complaining about the media hype for his program. In that sense, he was mocking Saban, which is nothing new for him, but still shows he is immaturely hung up on his previous boss.
