Ole Miss receiver Laquon Treadwell made what may be the play of the day Saturday with an over-the-shoulder touchdown catch against Auburn.
Treadwell had been tormenting the Tigers all day, but this grab was the icing on the cake – an outstanding grab made even more impressive by the fact that he had to maintain control and stay in bounds with an Auburn defender on his back.
The touchdown catch was confirmed on video review and expanded Ole Miss’s lead to 27-19.
Treadwell suffered a gruesome leg injury a year ago against this same Auburn team. Now he’s back and tearing them apart. He’s a great receiver and a great story, too.
