Mack Brown honored at halftime of Texas game
Legendary college football coach Mack Brown was honored at halftime of Texas’ basketball game against Oklahoma on Saturday.
Brown was honored by the school for his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. When speaking at halftime, Brown lauded the Texas-Oklahoma rivalry and shared his best wishes Longhorns guard Andrew Jones:

Jones was diagnosed with leukemia in January.
Brown, 66, was the head coach of Texas’ football team for 16 years. He went 158-48 and won a national championship for the Longhorns. He has continued to be involved with the university and athletic department since losing his job as head coach in 2013.
