Michigan LB Chase Winovich taunts ‘little brother’ Michigan State after win
Michigan Wolverines linebacker Chase Winovich taunted Michigan State with a “little brother” barb after the Wolverines beat the Spartans on Saturday.
Michigan took out Michigan State 21-7 in a close, weather-delayed game at East Lansing. Though Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh tried to quiet the trash talk during the week, everything came undone on Saturday.
Michigan’s Devin Bush defaced the Spartans logo at midfield before the game. After the game, Harbaugh blamed “bush league” Michigan State for the incident.
Winovich also did not hold back during his postgame interview.
"Sometimes your little brother starts acting up, and you just gotta put them in place."

The “little brother” jab has been going on for a while. Former Michigan quarterback Denard Robinson used to say it when he was playing, and apparently the tradition carries on. Harbaugh won’t like seeing Winovich’s comments, but he might understand them after all the pregame nonsense.
And don’t expect to see an apology from Winovich either.
I’d like to take this moment to apologize… FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! Go Blue!
