Watch: Devin Bush defaces Spartan logo after pregame altercation
The Michigan Wolverines didn’t even wait until the pregame walkthrough was over to renew hostilities with the Michigan State Spartans.
Several Wolverine players did not get out of the way during Michigan State’s traditional on-field walk before the game, leading to an on-field altercation.

Naturally, Michigan blamed Michigan State for being behind schedule.
Michigan says it was told MSU was going to do its walk at 9:50 am. UM players believed they were allowed to take the field at 10 am. Walk was, per U-M’s understanding, late. No one asked them to leave the field apparently.
And by now you know the result.

That incident apparently set off Wolverine linebacker Devin Bush, who promptly began trying to deface the Spartan logo at midfield with his cleats.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh actually suggested worrying less about extracurricular stuff like this in the leadup to the game. Everyone more or less had until they came face-to-face, at which point all bets were off.
