
The Texas Longhorns are still looking to get quarterback Sam Ehlinger back as soon as possible, and things are trending in the right direction.
According to Anwar Richardson of OrangeBloods, Ehlinger’s recovery is still according to plan, and he was set to try throwing a real football on Sunday.
Texas sophomore QB Sam Ehlinger ‘s recovery from a shoulder injury is going according to plan, from what I have been told. He threw a Nerf football on Friday, and is slated to throw a real football on Sunday. As of Saturday, he’s trending in the right direction.

Ehlinger remains on course, as he had been during the week, and if there was any silver lining, it’s that the injury came before a bye week. He’ll face a race against time to be ready for the Oklahoma State Cowboys next weekend.
