Paige Bueckers capped off her collegiate career by winning a national title on Sunday, and her home state’s NFL team gave her an awesome shoutout following the big win.
Bueckers had 17 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists in UConn’s 82-59 win over South Carolina at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla. The senior finally got over the hump after leading the Huskies to the Final Four four times.
Bueckers is originally from Edina, Minn. She grew up a big Minnesota Vikings fan, and the team shared photo proof of that after UConn’s win.

The Vikings posted a photo on X of Bueckers decked out in Vikings gear and captioned it “Buckets.”

It would have felt wrong for Bueckers to end her college career without a championship. She has been one of the best players and biggest stars in the country. We were reminded of that with the awesome shirt that one fan wore to Sunday’s game.
Bueckers made both UConn country and Vikings country proud.
