Florida State may have lost to their rivals on their home field in Tallahassee on Saturday, but Willie Taggart wasn’t about to let some extra celebrating fly.
Taggart and other Seminoles coaches prevented the Florida Gators from planting a flag at midfield after the Gators’ 41-14 win at Doak Campbell Stadium.

After the game, Taggart called the actions of Florida “disrespectful.”
Willie Taggart described Florida players attempting to plant their flag on Florida State's logo as "disrespectful." Said he didn't necessarily want his players coming to help, but wasn't going to let that fly.

The loss caps off a brutal season for the Noles. Prior to the season, Taggart promised Seminoles fans a record they’d be happy with. Instead, he’s given them their first season without a bowl game since 1981. We doubt fans are happy with that outcome.
