Wilton Speight leaves game with possible back injury (Video)
Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight left Saturday’s game against Purdue after taking a nasty hit.
Speight was closed down and sacked by several Purdue defenders late in the first quarter, with the quarterback taking a big hit toward his upper back or neck area as he was already going down.

Speight walked off under his own power, but gingerly. There was no word on his status, but Wolverines radio reported that a concussion had been ruled out.

Speight suffered a collarbone injury last year, but had fully healed up for 2018. Backup John O’Korn took over for him after he left the game.
