Clint Eastwood appears to show his age in awkward Jim Nantz interview
Clint Eastwood can still hit a golf ball and take part in the making of a Hollywood film, but the gritty legend may finally be showing a few signs of age.
As usual, Eastwood made himself very visible at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am this year. Eastwood is from the San Francisco area and is an investor in the Pebble Beach Golf Links, so his attendance at the event has been a given throughout the years. During the final round of play on Sunday, Eastwood joined Jim Nantz and Nick Faldo for an interview during the CBS broadcast. Viewers quickly noticed that the 89-year-old seemed a bit distant.

Eastwood was lucid for the majority of the interview, though Nantz and Faldo did try to make light of him giving one-word answers at one point. Of course, we’re talking about a guy who will turn 90 in a few months.
While we all like to think of Eastwood from his Western film days or telling some kid to “get off my lawn,” he’s getting up there in age. The fact that he is almost 90 and is even able to still work and make public appearances is remarkable.
