Michelle Beadle goes to prom with Jack Jablonski
As promised, Jack Jablonski had the coolest prom date in school on Saturday night. Jablonski went to the Benilde-St. Margaret’s School (Minn.) prom with the one and only Michelle Beadle. It looked like the two had as much fun as expected.
“I’m a 38 year old getting ready for prom,” Beadle tweeted before attending the big event. “My hair will be slightly smaller and my bum slightly bigger. And I’m also nervous. What?!?!”
For those of you who are unfamiliar with his story, Jablonski is a teenager who was paralyzed from the chest down after he was checked into the boards head-first during a high school hockey game in 2011. He has communicated with Beadle through Twitter over the past few years, and he formally invited her to prom when she made a guest appearance on his weekly segment on 105 The Ticket earlier this year.
Both Jack and Michelle were given somewhat of a VIP treatment on Saturday, but in many ways they were just another pair of high schoolers attending the prom.

Beadle was even administered her first breathalyzer test before being admitted into the dance.

The ESPN host told Larry Brown Sports last month that she was thrilled when Jablonski asked her to be his date.
“I know that he’s a badass and someone I look up to immensely,” Beadle wrote in an email. “I was shocked when he asked today. And I adore him for doing it live on the radio. I’m honored to squeeze my 38 year old behind into a formal gown for a great night!”
Hopefully Jack had the time of his life.
