Aaron Rodgers gets meme treatment after terrible half in London
Aaron Rodgers showed fans in London on Sunday what a truly disastrous half of American football looks like, and the New York Jets quarterback was ruthlessly mocked for it.
Rodgers went 10/20 for 95 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions in the first half of New York’s game against the Minnesota Vikings at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England. The interceptions came on consecutive drives, and the first was a pick-six where Rodgers somehow did not see Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel.

Fans on social media were not kind to Rodgers during the brutal first half. There were many savage jokes about Rodgers’ age the lack of impact he has had on New York’s offense.

Despite looking lost for the better part of 30 minutes, Rodgers and the Jets were able to end the half on a high note. They forced a punt with just over a minute remaining and got excellent field position, which allowed Rodgers to put together a touchdown drive.
The Jets trailed 17-7 at the half, so the result could have been a lot worse given how poorly they played.
